Tax and Accounting Counsel

NVLA offers its members free tax and accounting assistance through its tax and accounting counsel. Michael E. North, a director at Katz, Sapper & Miller, serves in this role. North supervises audits and reviews of financial statements, and the preparation of tax returns and advises clients in tax, accounting, reporting, compliance and internal control matters.  North works with car dealerships as well as finance and leasing companies. Members are only a phone call away from an answer to their questions on crucial tax issues and accounting practices.

NVLA is grateful to accounting counsel emeritus, Paul Doyle, one of the nation's leading lease accountants, for his years of service. He was recipient of the Association's Samuel J. Lee Memorial Award for lifetime contributions to the leasing industry as a non-lessor.
