NVLA’s programs and services are designed to keep members informed, competitive, and prepared for future challenges and opportunities.
Governmental Activities. The Association monitors legislative activity in all 50 states and the U.S. Congress, resulting in the review of more than 450 pieces of legislation annually. Members are kept up-to-date on this activity through various publications and member bulletins.
Tax and Accounting Counsel. Members gain access to one of the nation’s leading lease tax and accounting professionals, Mr. Paul Doyle, CPA. He is available to answer questions on tax issues and accounting practices.
General Counsel. For questions of a generic nature on leasing issues, members also have access to Mr. Cary Boyden, Esq., one of the nation’s leading authorities on the legal aspects of leasing.
Local Chapter Network. More than 10 regional chapters meet on a periodic basis that feature influential speakers and the opportunity to interface with industry peers.
Certification Program. The NVLA offers the industry’s premier Certification program for experienced lessors. The program includes 80 hours of classroom instruction and successful graduates receive the designation of Certified Vehicle Leasing Executive (CVLE).
Annual Conference. Bringing together vehicle lessors from across the country for dynamic topical seminars and focus group round tables featuring industry experts in leasing and related industries.
Manufacturers Relations Council. A unique forum where members’ views and issues are discussed by the Council with automotive manufacturers’ fleet representatives.
