NVLA Education Program

Approximately how long does certification take? Realizing that everyone’s schedule is different, the new NVLA Education Program is designed as a Work at your own pace program without time limit for completion. Certification requires only the completion & satisfactory test score for each module within the certification level.
What are the costs? The new NVLA Education Program was designed to make the certification process more accessible & less costly than the previous program. Certification does not require travel, time away from work, or other expenses related to attending seminars. The cost is limited to a small enrollment fee and the individually priced modules purchased within each certification level.
Do my previous CVLE classes count towards this new certification program? If you have previous CVLE class credits and continue towards certification, you will be given credit in the new NVLA Education Program. The NVLA Education Committee will address these requests on a case by case basis to determine the status within the new program.
Who should become certified? The new NVLA Education Program is designed to allow certification opportunities for leasing industry employees at different levels including administration, sales, management & executives.
Where will the classes take place? The new NVLA Education Program is a web-based program, accessible through the NVLA website. There is generally no need for travel or time away from work to attend conventional classroom instruction.
When will the classes take place? The new NVLA Education Program is presented & administered in an online format. Therefore the classroom is available 24/7/365.
How will certified individuals be recognized? Upon certification, each individual will receive a plaque which can be displayed at work or home. The NVLA will also recognize each individual by mention in future NVLA publications and at the annual NVLA conference.
How can my company sponsor this program? As with all member benefit programs, there are administrative expenses which require ongoing support from sponsors. If you or your company would like to participate, requests for sponsorship may be forwarded to the NVLA Education Program at NVLA headquarters. Do I have to take classes in any order? No. Each certification level contains individual modules which may be purchased in any order. There are no prerequisites. Therefore, an individual may be working on several modules or certifications simultaneously.
